A few things happen when you wear pattern pants. Number one, people notice your pants, so it’s something that you can’t wear all the time. For example, here comes George in the striped pants again. If you have a variety in your wardrobe, it’s something that you can rotate through a little bit easier. The next thing is, your trousers are the only thing that making a statement. What I mean by that is, the trousers are the highlight, everything else is complementing or toning them down. For example, I would not wear a pattern trouser with a patterned, polkadot or striped shirt. Just keep your upper half relatively plain and solid and you’re good.
It’s tough to find patterned trousers on their own, because usually they’re sold with a complete suit, but I have some from from Zara, and from Top Man. Now, just for the record, Top Man is a very youthful store, so proceed with caution. I will also say that the sizes at top man are about 1 to 2 sizes smaller, so size up accordingly. So if you’re normally a 32, try a 34.
The cool thing is, and what I love so much about wearing pants like this is that you can have a lot of fun with it. They go with a nice pair of dress shoes just as much as they go with a nice pair of sneakers.
I’ll do my best to provide some links down below in the description so you guys can go check these out on your own if you’re interested.
All right guys let’s dive into the look book. But first if you haven’t already subscribed please take care of that right now because I’m here twice a week with new videos. That means I’ll see you in just a few days for a brand new one. Until then, take care of yourself.
