Today we’re talking about styling boots. But not just any pair of boots, these are boots with a cashmere twist. I hope you’re all staying healthy and keeping yourselves busy during this craziness. It’s definitely an interesting time. With that said though, I’d like to remain as positive as I can and continue to bring you regular men’s lifestyle topics that you’ve come to expect. Especially since I don’t have any real control over the current situation and videos like this help pass the time and also help provide a sense of normalcy.
So today, I’ve partnered up with a new, up and coming boot brand, YRX Boots to help promote their new boot model. YRX Boots are helping to support this channel by sponsoring today’s video and I appreciate the support. Because during a time when a lot of other bigger brands are backing out, they came through and I want to thank them for that. You guys know by now that I only work with brands and products that I personally like and think you might like. And also products that I already use, or would like to use in the future. I’ve heard about YRX boots before and I’ve seen them online and I always liked how they looked. But I never pulled the trigger because I wasn’t completely sure how I’d work them into my wardrobe rotation because they are honestly, a little different.
So, when they reached out to work with me, I decided to go for it and take my own advice of stepping outside my comfort zone and trying new things. A lot of us, especially at this age get resistant to change and I can understand that. But at the same time, being open to change is how we discover our new favorite things that we never knew existed. And if you never try something new, you’ll never discover that you actually really like it.
Anyway, enough philosophy from me. Let’s talk about the boots. They sent over a pair in black, and a pair in gray. Inside the box, and by the way, the box has a really cook magnetic closure on it, but inside the box you get a free shoe brush, shoehorn and cashmere travels bags. The boots use blake-stitch construction which makes them lightweight and flexible, and also comfortable. The leather sole has rubber studs for traction, and the upper is made of 100% cashmere. This is so soft. You know how some boots tend to hurt your medial malleolus (the ankle bone that sticks out on the side of your foot)? Well, these are so soft and comfortable, that’s not a problem at all.
I’m gonna leave a special link right here as well as a discount code: 40overfashion that get’s you $15 off your pair. I would encourage you to not sleep on this one, because supply is limited. Now, as nice as these boots are, they are casual boots, so denim is my first choice with pairing them up, but chinos also work really well. The gray boots have been the most versatile for me, but if you’re into black, these are an absolute show-stopper. Take a look at the video above to see a few looks I put together. Honestly, I can’t wait for the quarantine to be over so I can start wearing these out in the real world. Thanks again to YRX Boots, and like I mentioned, if you want a pair for yourself, don’t wait. Guys, thanks for watching, I appreciate it very much and I’ll see you in a few days for a new video. But until then, stay healthy, life well and I’ll see you soon.
