I’ve got a really good one lined up for you today because not only are we talking about the importance of vitamins as we get older, but I brought in a special guest, Aaron Marino to help me with this topic.
If you’re not familiar with Aaron, he runs a very large YouTube channel called AlphaM where he talks about men’s lifestyle topics like I do. He also owns several other very successful businesses. He used to own a Fitness & Nutrition center and he’s won a natural body building competition. Personally, I’ve been following Aaron since probably 2008 and I even made a video for his channel way back in the day. It’s probably not up anymore, but you’re welcome to head over to his channel and try to find it. So for the video above, I sent Aaron a few questions about vitamins and other supplements that we, as men, should be looking at as we get older. He recorded his answers in this video, so let’s dive in with the questions I asked. Please watch the video for the full Q&A session.
Question 1
“Thanks again for being here Aaron. Now I know you’re not a doctor, but in a general overview, what’s your background with health, diet and supplementation?”
Question 2
“Okay, so what exactly are vitamin supplements, what are the best types of supplements we should consider, and why, in your opinion, should men consider taking vitamin supplements as we get older?”
Question 3
“I’m a huge fan of Vitamin C and have been since I was a kid. My Mom got me started on vitamins when I was young just like you, but I also take a multi-vitamin along with Vitamin C every day. What are some key specific vitamins we should be looking for when trying to find a good multi-vitamin, and what are those vitamins good for in the body?”
Question 4
“Alright then, so now I’m taking all these great vitamin supplements, can I just eat pizza and ice cream every day?”
Question 5
“I know you also recommend a few workout supplements to help burn body fat and build muscle, but can guys take this same stuff if they don’t work out on a regular basis and would they see similar fat burning benefits?”
Question 6
“Okay, so I know some people don’t like taking pills, so if you’re not a pill-popper, what foods should you be focusing on to get some of the same important, beneficial nutrients and vitamins that we’re talking about?”
Alright guys, Aaron mentioned a few vitamins and also the Perscription for Nutritional Healing book, so I’m gonna leave a few Amazon links down below so you can go check out the book and the supplements he talked about. I’ll also leave the specific multi-vitamin that I take every day. Guys, I really hope you got something out of this video and if you did, please feel free to hit the thumbs up button over on YouTube to let me know. If you’re a subscriber to my channel, and I hope you are, I’ll see you in a few days for a brand new video, but until then, live well, and I’ll see you soon.
