What’s going on guys. It’s been a while since I’ve talked about fragrance, so today I wanted to give you my top 8 fragrances for Fall.
Alright, so to start with and in full disclosure, I’m not a fragrance expert, but I do have (at least what I think is) a decent fragrance collection. There’s a lot of channels on YouTube strictly dedicated to fragrances if you feel like taking a deeper dive down the rabbit hole.
During spring and summer when it’s warmer out is a good time for your lighter, fresh citrus fragrances. But when it starts getting a little cooler out, it’s time to go for something with a little more weight, spice and warmth. So let me start off with one of my current favorites, especially for a night out. And by the way, I’ll do my best to leave links to everything down below in case you want to pick up one or two for yourself.
Tom Ford Noir Extreme
Tom Ford Noir Extreme – This is a bold, daring fragrance with amber and woody notes, along with oriental spice fragrance with a little bit of smoky undertones. It projects very well, so be careful how much you apply and it lasts a very long time. I’d say this is more of an evening going out fragrance vs a day time office fragrance because it’s somewhat bold.
Acqua Di Gio Profumo
Next up is Acqua Di Giò Profumo – This is one of my favorites. This is a slightly sweet fragrance with sensual bergamot and marine notes paired with deep, captivating notes of incense. It’s rich, seductive and sensual and it lasts a long time on my skin. This is another good one for going out dressed up.
Doir Sauvage
Dior Sauvage – This is a very popular fragrance for good reason, but that’s what also makes it somewhat less appealing because a lot of guys are wearing it. But, if you want a mass appealing slightly sweet, powerful, sensual and mysterious scent, this is definitely for you. It has notes of bergamot, spice, wood and vanilla which makes it a great masculine scent that’s great for everyday and all occasions.
Zararoff Signature Pour Homme
Next is Zaharoff Signature Pour Homme – This is a new one for me and I’ve been wearing it in my rotation over the last few months and I’m absolutely loving it! It also has an interesting story. George Zarahoff, the guy who brought this fragrance to life is a menswear designer based in Chicago that has been carried at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman. He sourced all of the different oils from all over the world and everything is very high quality. It’s a deep, rich complex fragrance with oud, sandalwood, frankincense and myhrr. It’s an incredible scent that not everyone else will be wearing. You can get Zaharoff online at Nordstrom, but they do sell out pretty fast.

Creed Aventus
Okay, next I have Creed Aventus – This is another one of my favorites and if you know anything about the fragrance world, you know about this one. Top notes of Bergamot, blackcurrant leaves, apple and pineapple. Mid-notes of Pink berries, birch, patchouli and jasmine. Base notes of Musk, oakmoss, ambergris and vanilla. This one lasts practically forever and once the top notes dry down, that’s when it really comes to life and shines in my opinion.
Spice Bomb by Viktor & Rolf
Next is Spice Bomb by Viktor & Rolf – What you get right away is spice. Bergamot, cinnamon, leather, grapefruit, and pink pepper. This is top selling fragrance for good reason and everyone seems to be obsessed with how cool the bottle is. It’s spicy and comforting at the same time. If you want your significant other to cuddle up next to you as you’re sitting in front of the fireplace on a cool Fall evening, put this one on.
Versace Eros
Okay, the next one I have for you is Versace Eros – Some people say this is a youthful fragrance, but I think us older guys can wear it even better than the younger guys. It’s sweet, refreshing, minty and zesty with notes of lemon, amber, cedarwood and vetiver. This is the one to go for when you want attention in a crowded bar when you’re out with the guys. It’s fresh, but also strong and distinctive.
Mont Blanc Legend Spirit
Next I have one of my all-time favorites Mont Blanc Legend Spirit – If you’re looking for a signature scent you can wear every day, this might be it. It has top notes of pink peppercorn, bitter grapefruit and zesty bergamot. There’s also lavender, cardamom and aquatic notes that dry down to sensual sandalwood, cedar, cashmere and oak moss. Overall, this is a great fresh and woody scent that gets lots of compliments.
