What’s going on guys! Today I’m responding to a popular comment that I get from you guys quite a bit, and that’s how do I shop and where do I shop if I’m on a budget. Look, I’m on a budget too, so take a look at the video and let me show you a few things I just picked up.
So look, trust me I get it. Money is tight and nobody wants to waste it. But everyone has their own individual boundaries on what they consider affordable and what they might consider expensive. I feel like I try to hit the spot right in the middle with some of the products I talk about, but even when I recommend a $40 dress shirt in the Nordstrom sale video I made, someone might think that’s still too expensive.
So today, we’re going low budget. Not quite thrift store budget, but Target budget. I went to my local Target and wanted to see what I could get for $100. Just so we’re clear, I spent my own money and this is not a sponsored video.
Now, I went on a Thursday and didn’t see any special sales going on, but usually there is, so keep in mind, you might be able to do a lot better than I did. I wanted to find items that would appeal to most of you guys.
Items I picked up:
Blue polo shirt.
Off-white chino’s.
Blue & white dress shirt.
Gray dress trousers.
This makes for a total combination of four different outfits for $102.26. Now, keep in mind that none of this stuff was even on sale, so watch for the sales and you can do even better. Now, I can’t vouch for the long term quality and whether or not these items hold up to normal wear and laundry, but I do have a few pair of the Target chino’s already and they’ve been great.
One other thing I wanted to bring up. I get asked a lot where I shop for clothes and where I might recommend guys to go shopping for stuff. The thing is, I might recommend a place and you walk in, and walk right back out in 5 minutes because you didn’t see anything you liked. You have to be willing to be open minded and really look around. I’m not saying you have to spend all day at the mall, but in order to be efficient with your time, you have to be willing to look around, otherwise the entire trip was a waste.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been at Target and walked right past the men’s department saying they don’t have anything I’d like. The truth is, they do. I just had to get off my high house and actually go look, and I encourage you to do the same, especially if you’re on a budget.
Anyway guys, take a look at the video I linked above to see everything on me and how the combinations work together.
