Small personal luxuries are important
Alright, first things first. I do realize this DIY project falls a little outside of my usual style content, but let’s face it….. With the world spending significantly more time at home with basically no end in sight, simple DIY upgrades like adding this rain shower that I have from Grohe creates luxurious day-to-day experiences that are really important…. at least for me. I’m trying to make the most of my time at home. That means, for me anyway, investing in small, personal luxuries that help me enjoy my time at home instead of always craving going out.
Grohe Rainshower Smart Connect 310
Today’s post is sponsored by Grohe, but to be clear, all reviews and opinions are my own. So today, I’m gonna be walking through the installation of this super cool Rainshower SmartConnect 310 Shower Head shower that Grohe sent over and I gotta say, I’m pretty excited about it.
Grohe offers this Rainshower in a few different finishes, and I got this one in chrome. It’s designed as an easy upgrade to your current shower because you simply replace the shower head and shower arm, and attach the remote control to the wall. And because the water-tight remote-control conveniently mounts to the wall making it easily accessible, you no longer have to reach up to the shower head, like I currently do, to change the stray pattern.

The Rainshower 310 Smart Connect is a German engineered, modern, minimalist design with remote-control technology for an incredible shower experience. The wireless remote control easily switches between different spray functions, plus a combination of sprays to satisfy everyone’s preference.
Final thoughts..
The next day, after installation and use, here’s my final thoughts on the Grohe Rain Shower. It was probably the easiest and straightforward plumbing installation I’ve ever done. I’m not sure if that’s the German engineering, but everything just worked the way it was supposed to and there were zero hiccups along the way. If there was, you would’ve seen it in the video. Overall, it’s AWESOME! My favorite spray pattern is the center jet combined with the rain shower because it’s a perfect deluge of water.
I love the sleek minimal design and the remote easily switches between the different spray settings. I’m very impressed with the fit and finish. Even though this wasn’t a complete bathroom makeover, it’s a nice addition to an otherwise very normal bathroom shower.
