My friend, Jill makes some pretty cool stuff. She makes this really cool stuff herself, with her own hands. She’s a great person who’s also overcome some pretty shitty curve balls that have been thrown at her. For example, her office & studio burning to the ground, with all her really cool stuff inventory and her really cool stuff machinery inside. Next, there was a car crash. Anyway, this isn’t a sob story blog post. This is a post about some really cool hand made stuff.
So, what’s the cool stuff I’m talking about? It’s beautiful, worsted wool handmade pocket squares and bow ties. The fabric is incredibly soft and luxurious. Jill sent me a box with an assortment of her cool handmade stuff and asked if I’d be up for taking a few photos with a few pieces. I don’t say yes to everything, but in this case, I said, hell yes.
All kidding aside, these pieces are top quality, very versatile and she’s got more coming. The patterns and styles are timeless and classic, which I love. Trends come and go, but classic styles always endure. As I understand it, she’ll be making a trip to LA’s Fashion District very soon to pick out some fresh new fabrics.
