Yes, it was faster, but my hair had Zero style whatsoever. Fast forward to about 5 years ago when I started paying more attention to my hair and started growing it and playing with different styles. Yes, it does take a little longer to style every morning, but the few extra minutes are totally worth it. If you still have your hair, or if you’re still running with the same hair style you’ve had for the last 15-20 years, I encourage you to try something new. Try growing it out and working with a local barber on a new current style that you can manage. If you’re thinning a little, growing your hair will add volume and make your hair look a lot fuller.
Guys, please watch the video and feel free to leave me a comment, question or concern about your current hair situation.

This was a good video, I went ahead and tried a new longer cut myself. I’m a bit curious about the styling as I haven’t used a hair dryer in about 20 years. Barber encourage me to go with matte style pomade also as opposed to the shine style pomade I’d been using. More details please!

Hey Mike, I’m not a hair product expert, but I would say that the ‘hold’ would be pretty much the same between the two, but the matte stuff might not clump hairs together as much and would have a more natural (dry) look.
