So right off the top, I’m not suggesting that you absolutely need all of these boots I’m about to show in your wardrobe. Also, I live in Southern California and the weather here is pretty mild even in the winter. I live in a urban area so I’m not out working a farm or maintaining a large piece of property every day.
Boots for urban lifestyles
With that said, the boots in this article reflect a more urban lifestyle and a more streamlined silhouette. If you’re looking for a article about work boots for the job site, this might not be the right video for you. But if you’re looking for a sweet pair of stylish boots you can throw on when you’re out on the town or out with your Mrs, this video is for you.
Now, because I wanted to make this post talking all about boots you can wear this fall, Thursday Boot Company graciously jumped on board to sponsor it. And for that, I want to take a second to thank them. All of the boots you’re gonna see in the video I posted up above are from Thursday Boot Company. You probably know by now that I’m a huge fan of Thursday’s, so more about them in just a little bit.
Suede Chukka Boots
The first boot I want to show you is the suede Chukka boot. This is a great, casual boot style that works with a lot of different wardrobe combinations. They’re easy to pair with jeans or chinos and they project sort of a rugged, casual, but also elevated lifestyle. They’re not flashy and they don’t call too much attention to themselves. And that’s one of the reasons I like ‘em so much. They just work in a lot of different situations.
I’ve got a few more suede boots to talk about, but all the suede boots are unique in that they’re made with Thursday Boot’s proprietary “WeatherSafe™ Suede” – which prevents water from penetrating the leather — keeping your feet dry on rainy Fall days. They’re soft and supple with surprising strength and longevity. You’d never know the difference looking at them, but you’ll definitely know the difference in a rainstorm!
Thursday Boots are designed for guys who understand quality and don’t want to pay high retail mark-ups for great looking boots that are built to last. They offer the lowest direct-to-consumer prices on Goodyear welt boots made with premium USA leather — and they offer free shipping & returns. If you’re looking for a high-quality boot that’s comfortable, durable, and versatile at the lowest direct to consumer price out there, Thursday Boots has you covered because there’s a lot to choose from. The next boot is the Chelsea boot. I’ve made a few other videos already talking about Chelsea boots, but this is a fantastic option for the fall. You can go with different colors of suede or leather and the rubber soles help prevent slipping on wet surfaces and sidewalks. These might be the some of the most versatile boots you can own because they can easily take you from day time activities to evening with no problem. They go great with jeans, chinos or even dress trousers if you get ‘em in full grain leather.
Rugged Outdoor Boot
Next up, is a more rugged outdoor style. These can absolutely handle the outdoor working environment. They’ve got Antimicrobial Shock Absorbing Insoles, Cork-Bed Midsoles that Form to Your Feet, and Vibram Outsoles that are incredibly durable. Feel free to beat ‘em up or keep ‘em looking nice. Either way, for however you wanna wear ‘em, especially with your favorite blue jeans, they’re a solid option for Fall. These can look right at home in the city or in more rural, less populated areas.
Cap Toe Boots
My next pick rides the line between rugged and refined perfectly. It’s a cap-toe model. You can either get the studded rubber out-sole in the Classic series, or the more aggressive rubber lug out-sole. This is another style that’s incredibly versatile. For example, you can get a classic dark brown or black and have a more refined look with a cap toe, or you get the same model in Tobacco with the rubber lug out-sole and have a more rugged look with the traction you need for the outdoors.
And, for complete contrast, we have the Jodhpur boot. And once again, it has the same WeatherSafe Suede and Goodyear welt construction. This is for the more fashion forward individual who wants something more interesting than what everybody else is wearing. It’s essentially very similar to a Chelsea boot. But it incorporates split at the top to make it easy to get into. You also get a streamlined toe box with a functional strap and buckle closure. It’s definitely a stylish boot that’ll set you apart from the crowd this fall.
